Why Vietnam?
Rural Vietnam is home to small, often under-resourced Christian congregations doing significant work with very little outside support. Pastors frequently serve without formal training or a living wage. Church buildings are modest — sometimes a repurposed room with a hand-built cross on the roof. Children have few structured after-school programs, and English instruction, where it exists, is expensive.
Did Over Should works directly with local church leaders rather than around them — funding what they identify as their own community’s greatest needs, from English clubs and vacation Bible school to pastor training and basic medical support.
[PLACEHOLDER — if there’s a specific origin story for how this ministry started in Vietnam, or a particular region/province it focuses on, add it here. Specifics build trust more than general description.]

Getting there is part of the work
Reaching some of the churches and villages we serve means hours on a motorbike over roads that don’t always show up on a map. It’s slow, deliberate work — the kind that only happens because someone is willing to keep showing up.
